Its customers are households ordering through the app and website, plus businesses buying in bulk through its B2B arm.
It earns money by selling goods at a margin to shoppers and to business buyers; the consumer arm brings in about 78% of operating revenue.
It has pushed into quick commerce (delivery in minutes), which has widened its losses.
It is a Tata group company that began in 2011 and is based in Bengaluru, with a presence in 60+ cities and towns.
