StopDown

Privacy policy

StopDown is a news site about Indian startups. This page explains what we keep about you, why, and how to remove it.

What we keep

Visit statistics

We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to count visits and see which pages and features people use and where they came from. IP addresses are shortened, and nothing in it names you.

Advertising

StopDown may show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads to you based on those visits.

Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are set.

Cookies

Besides the statistics and advertising cookies above, the site uses your browser's storage to remember your settings and sign-in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings; the site still works, but it will forget your settings.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. It is stored with Google (Firebase) and processed by Google Analytics and, if ads are shown, Google AdSense. We share data only when the law requires it.

Children

StopDown is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Removing your data

Clear this site's data in your browser to remove what is on your device. To remove anything we hold for your account, subscription or messages, write to stopdown.in@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date below.
