Brainbees Solutions, the parent company of FirstCry, announced its Q1 FY27 results on 13 August 2026.
The company's consolidated net loss narrowed 34% year-on-year to Rs 43.95 crore from Rs 66.50 crore in Q1 FY26.
Revenue from operations grew 13% YoY to Rs 2,106.23 crore from Rs 1,862.56 crore.
India business revenue rose 17.7% YoY to Rs 1,455.9 crore, while international revenue grew ~12% to Rs 232.1 crore.
GlobalBees contributed Rs 424.3 crore in revenue.
Consolidated adjusted EBITDA fell to Rs 89.3 crore from Rs 92.7 crore, with margin slipping to 4.24% from 4.98%.
Total GMV (India multi-channel + international) increased 12% to Rs 2,807.2 crore.

The loss narrowed despite higher material costs, which rose 17% YoY to Rs 1,336.8 crore.
Employee benefit expenses increased to Rs 153.2 crore, but share-based payment costs halved to Rs 29.6 crore.
The diapering category faced heightened competitive intensity, but non-diapering portfolio (85% of GMV) performed well.
FirstCry Qwik expanded to 12 cities from 5, and RocketBees to 72 cities from 62.

Brainbees Solutions is the parent company of FirstCry, an omnichannel retailer for kids' products.
It sells baby products online and offline, including clothing, toys, diapering, feeding, bath, and nursery items.
The company also operates preschools, parenting content, and subscription boxes like Intellikit and Intellibaby.
India business contributes 69% of total operating revenue; international operations are in UAE and Saudi Arabia.
FirstCry Qwik (quick commerce) is now in 12 cities, and RocketBees (logistics) in 72 cities.
