Akasa Air co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Praveen Iyer has submitted his resignation from the airline.
He will remain with the company to ensure a smooth transition through April 30, 2026.
This departure marks the second high-profile exit of a co-founder in less than three years of operations.
Co-founder and Chief Information Officer Anand Srinivasan will assume the role of Chief Commercial Officer effective May 1.
The airline's IT function will temporarily report to Chief Financial Officer Ankur Goel while a search for a new chief information officer is underway.

The exit follows a series of senior management departures over the preceding months, including co-founder Neelu Khatri.
The leadership reshuffle occurs as the airline scales up operations and expands its fleet following recent aircraft deliveries.
