- Simple Energy launched the Simple ONE Gen 1.5 electric scooter.
- The scooter is priced at Rs 1,66,000 ex-showroom Bengaluru, including a 750W charger.
- It has a certified IDC range of 248 km, up from 212 km on the Gen 1.
- The claimed real-world range is 180-190 km on a single charge.
- It accelerates from 0-40 km/h in 2.77 seconds and has a top speed of 105 km/h.
- The motor delivers 8.5 kW (peak 11.4 bhp) and 72 Nm torque.
- Under-seat storage is 30+ litres, and the battery has two packs: a floor-mounted 3.7 kWh unit and a portable 1.3 kWh pack.
