Paytm and Visa launch cardholder discounts

- Paytm is a leading Indian digital payments app used for bills, recharges and travel tickets
- With Visa it now gives eligible credit and debit cardholders 50% off, up to ₹50, on metro ticket bookings
- Smaller cuts of 5–10%, capped at ₹100, apply to recharges and utility bills; the offers last until 31 December 2026
What happened
- Eligible Visa cards get 50% off metro tickets, up to ₹50.
- Debit cardholders get 10% off up to ₹100 on bills of ₹299 or more.
- Platinum credit cardholders get 5% off up to ₹100.

- Offers run till 31 December 2026.
- Metro offer works twice per card each month.
