- SoftBank sold 8 crore equity shares (a 1.7% stake) in Meesho for ₹1,650.40 crore via a block deal on the NSE.
- The sale price was a weighted average of ₹206.30 per share, a 1.6% discount to the previous closing price.
- The seller was SoftBank's investment entity SVF II Meerkat DE.
- The biggest buyer was Franklin Templeton, which bought 96.7 lakh shares.
- Other buyers included Societe Generale (80 lakh shares), Fidelity (66.7 lakh shares through nine entities), and Manulife-associated entities (50.3 lakh shares).
- Additional buyers were HDFC Standard Life Insurance, Goldman Sachs, Motilal Oswal, Morgan Stanley, HSBC Mutual Fund, and sovereign wealth funds of Kuwait, Oman, and Norway.
- SoftBank held 39.6 crore shares (8.6% equity) in Meesho as of the June quarter end.

- SoftBank also sold 4.50 crore shares of Lenskart for ₹2,887.9 crore the previous week.
- SoftBank had earlier sold Lenskart shares worth ₹2,873.3 crore in June 2026.
- SoftBank reduced its stake in Delhivery from 9.67% (September 2024) to 7.61% (June 2026).
- Other investors like Y Combinator, Elevation Capital, Peak XV Partners, and Fidelity have also sold Meesho shares recently.
