BigBasket opened its first physical store under the Fresho brand in Bengaluru in October 2021.
The store is located in Basaveshwar Nagar, Bengaluru, and has been open since 25 October 2021.
Store timings are 8 AM to 9 PM.
The store currently has no BigBasket or Fresho signage because the company is cautious about early customer volume.
Since opening, the store has seen about 100 walk-ins and 80 orders per day despite no signage.
The store uses a new tech stack with self-weighing, self-checkout, and farmer traceability features.
Co-founder VS Sudhakar announced the store opening via an internal email.

Tata Digital acquired a majority stake in BigBasket earlier in 2021 and tasked it with building a unified supply chain and logistics network.
