Razorpay sells a payments platform that lets businesses take money online, in stores and by QR code, using more than 100 payment methods.
Its customers are Indian businesses in online shopping, education, banking and insurance, software and freelance work; over 150,000 of them use it (2026).
It earns mainly through fees on each transaction, plus charges for extra services such as business banking, payroll and corporate cards.
Beyond payments, RazorpayX gives companies current accounts, payouts, corporate cards and payroll in one place.
It is an RBI-authorised payment aggregator (a firm licensed to collect payments for merchants), founded in 2014.
Reported revenue was about Rs 3,783 crore in FY25, up 65% on the year before.
