- Macritchie Investments Pte Ltd, linked to Temasek, sold a 2.2% stake in PB Fintech through a bulk deal.
- The transaction involved 1.01 crore shares at Rs 1,604.12 each, totalling Rs 1,633 crore.
- Before the sale, Macritchie held 6.47% of PB Fintech as of end-March.
- In May, Tencent Cloud Europe BV exited its remaining 1.05% stake, selling shares worth about Rs 805.4 crore.
- Also in May, co-founders Yashish Dahiya and Alok Bansal sold 38 lakh shares at Rs 1,751 each, raising about Rs 665 crore.
- PB Fintech's board approved a Rs 20 crore investment in its payment subsidiary PB Pay Private Limited for expansion and RBI capital norms.
- The board also approved setting up two wholly owned subsidiaries in Dubai International Financial Centre for financial advisory and reinsurance services.
- On the sale day, PB Fintech's share price fell 5.71% to Rs 1,586, with a market cap of about Rs 73,383 crore.
