The enterprise set up its inaugural Indian branch in Bengaluru, which will function as a strategic center for expansion across the wider Asia-Pacific region.
The firm currently maintains a local staff of approximately 15 personnel and intends to grow its workforce in departments covering sales, alliances, client success, and solutions engineering.
This official market entry arrives after three years of indirect operations where the business functioned through third-party staffing and major cloud marketplaces.
The organization celebrated its official market debut via an event hosted in Delhi in collaboration with the Finnish Embassy.
In a separate product update, Aiven unveiled the general availability of Aiven Runtime and DataHub to transition from passive database utilities toward active agent infrastructure.
The novel runtime environment executes tasks adjacent to stored data to assist autonomous artificial intelligence agents while keeping lookup delays under 100ms.
